Luminous Sparks is an Inter School Quiz on Indian Culture and Heritage for high school and higher secondary students organised by Vedavyasa Vidyalayam Senior Secondary (Sainik) School. The school has recognised the importance of skill enhancement at a really early stage which can be seen reflected in their stellar upgradation as the Sainik School from the Sainik School Society under Defence Ministry. The great milestone in the history of Vedavyasa Vidyalayam is the visit of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the then President of the Nation on 25th September 2003. It is in his memory, Luminous Sparks is organised every year to work towards the greater vision of Kalam “India must stand up to the world”.
